Privacy Policy

KissnTells is a dating and social-rooms app operated by Kissntells, LLC, 15924 Stuart’s Draft Ct, Charlotte, NC 28278, United States. Questions and privacy requests: kissntells.llc@gmail.com.

KissnTells is for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and we remove accounts that misrepresent their age.

• Account: name, email address, phone number, date of birth and a password. Passwords are stored only as secure hashes by our authentication provider. We never see or store them in plain text.
• Profile: photos, a display picture, bio, gender, who you want to meet, what you are here for, height, lifestyle details and interests. Your profile is shown to other users; your phone number and email are never shown to anyone. You control who can see you, including whether people without an account can. See section 8.
• Content you create: messages in chats and rooms, photo/video/GIF attachments, reels (short videos), comments and likes. Chat attachments are stored in private storage and served only through short-lived signed links.
• Private feedback: you may rate another user after a genuine two-way conversation. Ratings are private: they are never shown on anyone’s profile and the rated person is never notified. We use them only for internal safety review.
• Support: if you contact Help & support we receive your ticket text and any screenshots you attach. We reply by email.

• Location: with your permission we use your device’s location to show people near you and power the map. Sharing your position on the map is a separate, visible switch (“Share my location”) you can turn off at any time. Other users see an approximate position and a distance, never your address.
• Contacts: contact sync is off by default. If you turn it on, phone numbers are converted to irreversible SHA-256 hashes on your device; raw numbers are never uploaded. You are only ever discoverable to a contact when you have each other saved and both switched the feature on.
• Camera, microphone and photo library: used to take or choose profile photos, record reels, send attachments and make video calls. Media flows only where you send it.
• Notifications: with your permission we send push notifications for matches, messages, calls and activity. Device push tokens are stored so your devices can be reached and are removed on sign-out.

Like most apps we receive basic technical data (device model, app version, IP address, and timestamps of requests) as an inherent part of operating a networked service. We also collect app usage events and crash diagnostics through PostHog to understand what works and fix what breaks. This analytics data is keyed to your account id, not sold to anyone, and used only to improve KissnTells.

Real money buys coins; coins buy everything else. Purchases are made through Apple’s App Store or Google Play, and we never receive or store your card or banking details. We receive a store receipt (transaction identifier) which we verify directly with Apple or Google before crediting coins. Your coin balance and an append-only record of coin transactions are kept so your balance is always accountable.

We do not sell, rent or lease your personal information. Data is shared only with the service providers that make the app work, each bound to process it solely on our behalf:

• Supabase: database, file storage and authentication (where your account and content live).
• Google Firebase: push notification delivery.
• Agora: carries the real-time audio/video stream of your calls. Calls are not recorded by us.
• Apple / Google: in-app purchase processing and receipt verification.
• PostHog: product analytics and error tracking.
• GIPHY: powers GIF search inside chat; your search terms are sent to GIPHY to return results.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the safety of our users, for example when handling a report of abuse.

You choose who can see your profile, in Profile → Settings → Privacy → Who can see you. There are three options, and you can switch between them at any time:

• Members only. Only people signed in to KissnTells can see you. This is the default. If you have never changed this setting, this is what applies to your account.
• Public. Your profile and your reels can also be seen by people who are browsing the app without an account. This only ever applies if you choose it. We will never switch your account to public on your behalf.
• Hidden. You can browse, but you do not appear to other members, except to people you have liked or matched with.

What a person without an account can see, and only if you chose Public: your profile as other members see it, and your reels. They cannot message you, call you, like you, match with you or contact you in any way, and they are never shown your phone number or email address.

Your exact location is never shared with them. People without an account see only a rough count of how many members are in a broad area, never a point on a map and never an individual. Areas with very few people in them are not shown at all. If you have turned Show my location off, you are not included in these counts at any privacy setting.

Turning Public off takes effect within a few minutes, after which you no longer appear to people without an account.

You can delete your account at any time in the app: Profile → Settings → Delete account. Deletion removes your profile, photos, matches, messages, reels and location data from the live service.

If you cannot access the app, email kissntells.llc@gmail.com from your account email with the subject “Delete my account” and we will complete the deletion within 30 days.

Some records survive deletion where the law or basic accountability requires it: purchase and coin-transaction records, and safety records such as reports and blocks, are retained for as long as necessary for those purposes and no longer.

All traffic is encrypted in transit. Access to data is controlled row-by-row in the database (row-level security), private media is reachable only through expiring signed links, and anything involving money runs on the server and is never trusted to the app on your phone. No system is perfectly secure, but we design so that a single mistake does not expose your data.

Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to complain to your local supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, email kissntells.llc@gmail.com. We answer within 30 days and never discriminate against you for exercising a right.

When we change this policy we will update it here and, for material changes, tell you in the app or by email before the change takes effect. The date at the top is always the version in force.
